Cystitis Self-Treatment

If you have cystitis, there are a number of other things you can do to help relieve symptoms. Our cystitis relief tips can help you reduce and control the pain and discomfort associated with cystitis.

  • Drink as much water or non-acidic liquids as possible, to help flush your bladder
  • Try to avoid fruit juice, alcohol, strong tea or coffee
  • Pass water as often as you need to
  • Avoid soaps, bubble bath and shower gels which are perfumed as these could make irritation worse
  • Keep Cymalon in the bathroom cabinet so you aren't caught out!!
